The O2 sensor on most cars is somewhere between the air intake and the engine, it is an electrical component which has a wire/wires connected to it.
The starter on a vehicle is always located directly in between the engine and the transmission. When a starter engages, it kicks out a rotating gear that meets with the flywheel of the vehicle, which is also a major component that mates the engine and transmission together. Different vehicle manufacturers mount this component on either the driver or passenger side, depending on the model.
This type of relay is usually located where a overheat could damage a component. Now if I knew the make model year engine and component being protected I may be able to answer more precisely
if you need to ask to find a torque converter you have no place under the hood. Between the engine and the transmission. Transmission must be removed to access this component.
Between the engine and transmission.Between the engine and transmission.
it is called a piston
Depends on the vehicle. It is located in the area between the engine and the transmission on one side or the other.
A Carburetor is a device that blends fuel and air for combustion in an IC engine and is located just before the inlet manifold to the engine. When you look under the hood of a car, this is the component that looks like a mushroom with a cap.
That component is called a "PCV valve," which stands for Positive Crankcase Ventilation valve. It helps regulate the flow of gases between the engine's crankcase and intake manifold for emissions control.
The MAF is located on the intake side of the engine, usually between the airfilter and the throttle body. The ECT (Engine coolant temp sensor) is usually located on the side of the engine block.
