The slave is located on the passenger side of the transmission. It has two bolts and one brake line for the clutch fluid going to it.To remove dissconnect the brake line and catch the excess fluid and remove the two bolts.Install the new part and brake line. Now fill the clutch fluid reservoir with new dot 3 or dot 4 (brand does not matter) brake fluid. You will have to open the bleed screw on the slave cylinder and have some one pump the pedal by hand at first and this clears the old fluid out and the air.You will have to do this several times.Open the bleeder screw on the slave pump the pedal and pump clutch pedal numerous times until reservoir is almost out of fluid.Close bleeder and refill reservoir and repeat process until NO air bubbles come thru the clear line going to the container while the bleeder valve is open.Once no air bubbles are present the process will be complete.Normally it takes about 3 refills of the reservoir to do this and that clears all the old fluid out and your reservoir fluid should be clean or clear colored.I would recommend buying a haynes or chiltons manual for reference if you have never done this before, and a bleeder kit sold at most auto stores like auto zone, advance auto, carquest, napa etc.Takes about 30 minutes to do I know I have replaced mine at least 4 times in 22 yrs.
