Recommended is Apolloil red oil form Idemitsu company Japan. Tech bulletin from KIA also mentioned a substitute is Nissan Nismo J ATF oil. Mitsubishi ATF SP3 is also widely used.So far no complaints.ATF oil has so many grades and quality,so the cheaper ones with less quality will be less smoother vice versa. For KIA 5 speed transmission better use good grade oil.So SP3 I would say is okay but shorter oil change periods.
Mopar ATF Plus Type 7176 automatic transmission fluid
It is the type that Chyrsler/Dodge uses.
Use ATF Plus 4
The same fluid used in the transmission. ATF PLUS 3 Type 7176
The transmission fluid cooled by routing it through the radiator. The fluid probably is a milky color because the radiator had failed internally allowing the coolant and transmission fluid to mix. Check the coolant and if looks milky change the radiator, coolant, and transmission fluid.
It depends on the engine size... 2.5L = MOPAR ATF PLUS (Automatic Transmission Fluid - Type 7176) 4.0L = MOPAR Automatic Transmission Fluid (P/N 4773590) or equivalent labeled DEXRON III MERCRON fluid. This information is taken directly from the 1995 Jeep Cherokee Owner's Manual, page 168. Putting in the wrong kind of transmission fluid will cause problems.
ATF+4 Type 7176 is Mopar's current type of transmission fluid. So I think both of your options are the same.ATF+4 Type 7176 is Mopar's current type of transmission fluid. So I think both of your options are the same.
Automatic trans fluid has three basic types: Mercon for older Fords, "Dexron plus three" for Chrysler and plain Dexron for everything else. You need ordinary Dexron Automatic Transmission fluid

You can not check the transmission fluid on the 2002 L200 or L300, due to this transmission is a sealed transmission. I bought my L200 new and this is one of the new transmissions Saturn was using from Germany. My question at this point is when does the transmission fluid need to be change. Mine has 100k miles plus. I have a chiltons manual on this particular model and this manual gives very ggod directions on how to change the fluid, filter etc. But when. Is 100k miles time to change the fluid and filter. Now I know where to get this answer, call our local Saturn dealer and ask the question.
