If the four cylinder engine is a Dual Over Head Cam design ( YES )
or it could be a V8 engine with 2 valves for each engine cylinder
16 valve
1.6 16 Valve engine
What is the valve lash on a cummins engine 16 V
nope has to be the 32 valve engine
No. Totally different engine codes between those years.
.16 of an inch both for intake valve and exhaust valve [cold]
Yes the VAG (VW/Audi) 2.0t FSI is 16 Valve. The older 1.8t it replaced was the Audi signature 5 valve percylinder engine.
The valve cover says 2.3-16. The trunk has 2.3-16 badges.
yes both the 8 valve and 16 valve engines are interterence engines
The engine code in the VIN will be a U for the 8-valve engine and a 6 for the 16-valve engine. My footnote for these also says the 1995 16-valve engine iis a California and New York model. The engine type digit is the sixth digit?letter in the VIN. Hope this helps.
Depends....a 2 valve per cylinder V8 would have 16 valves. A 4 valve per cylinder 4 banger would have 16 valves. There are also 3 valve per cylinder V8s...which would be 24. The number of valves does not necessarily determine what engine it is.
16 valve engine not put in a Tracker till 1996. 1994 Tracker is 8 valve (but a Sidekick may have the 16 valve in 1994) Actually there were 16 valve Trackers before 96. I have an early 95 which is 16v version. I believe 16v engines started somewhere between 91-94. I do know that the valve covers usually state 16 valve when it is. ,the spark plugs in a 16 valve are waaayy down in the top of the engine, you need about a eight inch extention to get at them
