Depends on what kind of subs your getting because for your subs to sound properly and give you the best bass, there needs to be sufficient enough space behind the sub to allow the sub to displace air and thus create BASS!!.. The amount of space you need depends on what size of sub you have.. For example you need more space for a 12 inch sub then you do for a 10 inch sub.. Just look up specs for your subwoofer on Google and you will see how much mounting depth it needs and buy a box that allows that space
Kicker is a much better quality subwoofer than Pyle, and it will have much better bass as well.
When referring to subwoofer enclosures, ported and vented are the same thing, as opposed to a sealed box. Sealed boxes are said to provide a harder "hit" and better sound quality but may not sound as loud as a ported box. Neither type of box is particularly "better" than the other, so the choice is between SQ (sound quality) of a sealed box vs. the louder but slightly poorer sound of a ported box. Hope this helps!
it depends on the type of music you listen to... if you need faster tighter bass for music like drum&bass and rock you would be better off with a smaller10" subwoofer wheras if you need deeper, slower bass such as RnB or rap music you'll be better off with a bigger one. the difference is that the cone on a smaller sub will react faster than a bigger one but won't have the volume potential of a bigger one because it will have a smaller surface area.
yes and no. it depends on the size of the speaker and where the speaker will be located to perform. For instance, if a 15" speaker is placed in a trunk with very little space, a smaller box would be ideal not only because of trunk space, but the sound will have more space to travel, rather than it reverberate quickly back to its starting point. But a pro of a bigger subwoofer enclosure is that the more box you have, the more it can be ported. With a bigger ported box, the subwoofer can perform closer to its RMS.
12inch-Produces better quality low pitch bass 10inch-Produces better and more accurate high pitch bass It depends on what you prefer but 99% of people prefer 12inch over a 10inch anyway plus they are more powerful than a 10 inch.
That is usually the whole point of a Subwoofer, hearing the music clearer and feeling it. If you don't like the thump, then a subwoofer is not for you! The best way to fix this problem is first you have to remove all the wires from the subwoofer. Than take the subwoofer out of the box and set the subwoofer in a trash can. On trash day wheel subwoofer to end of driveway. Problem solved!
A subwoofer box is just a wooden box used to hold the subwoofer speaker. The recommended wood is birch plywood that is 3/4 inch thick. Birch is a sturdy and dense wood. MDF fiberboard is becoming a more popular choice. It can withstand extreme temperature ranges better than wood.
You must first check with the guide to your subwoofer. Either you can probably find it online , but you need to know the RMS wattage for the subwoofer. Than buy an amp that can put out the same number of watts and the RMS is for the subwoofer.
'No Europe is slightly smaller than Texas, so the answer is no, I agree with Amyoh256.' Europe is not smaller than Texas. The UK is small than Texas is a better example.
It sure is, it sure is..... giggity.
you know, high price high quality and brand effect. For all this, I think you should choose a subwoofer that was made of aluminum housings, not the wood housings because aluminum make the tone quality better than wood.
"Nothing."
