can't be sure, but i would definably say jet engine, or else they would use combustion engines with propellers on every airplane
For the same reason as a propeller, but faster and more efficient.
The temperature inside the combustion chamber of a jet engine can reach up to 2,000 to 3,000 degrees Fahrenheit (1,100 to 1,650 degrees Celsius) due to the combustion of fuel with compressed air. This high temperature is necessary to achieve efficient fuel combustion and generate the thrust needed for the aircraft to operate.
the hottest point of the jet engine is the combustion chamber
Turbine engines are more efficient if allowed to run at a constant speed. Chrysler actually built a turbine-powered care in the 50s or 60s (turbino, I think) that used a turbine engine instead of an internal combustion engine. Vastly more efficient at highway speeds, but is absolutly TERRIBLE in stop-and-go traffic.
The combustion of the jet fuel in the engine of a jet aircraft propells the craft forward when it exits the nozzles of the jet engine(s) at high speed.
A steam engine, a stirling engine, a combustion engine, a jet engine, a rocket engine.
A jet engine powered car works by using a gas turbine engine to generate thrust, which propels the vehicle forward. The engine burns fuel to create hot gases that are expelled at high speeds, creating the necessary force to move the car. The advantages of a jet engine powered car over traditional combustion engine vehicles include higher power-to-weight ratio, faster acceleration, smoother operation, and potentially lower emissions. Additionally, jet engines are more efficient at high speeds, making them ideal for high-performance vehicles.
A Jet engine contains a series of turbines that accelerate the air that enters the engine. As the air is accelerated it is compressed to a higher density at which point the fuel is able to begin combustion at ambient temperatures. As the engine warms it becomes more efficient as the fuel is pee heated and the compressor is able to spool faster. At higher altitudes the engine becomes more efficient as the initial air density is lowered causing less resistance on the turbines to accelerate the air, thus allowing a higher spool rate with less fuel. Jet engines are very inefficient at sea level when compared to their efficiency at cruising altitudes.
An aeroplane's engine sucks air. Combustion takes place due to jet fuel. The force of the combustion propels the aircraft.
Yes. See link below.
Ram air increases the pressure and temperature of the air entering the jet engine, leading to increased engine performance. This effect is more prominent at higher speeds and altitudes where the air is more compressed and provides a greater oxygen supply for combustion.
The use of a jet engine in cars can significantly improve their performance and efficiency compared to traditional engines. Jet engines are known for their high power output and faster acceleration, which can enhance the speed and overall performance of the car. Additionally, jet engines are more fuel-efficient than traditional engines, leading to better fuel economy and reduced emissions. Overall, the use of a jet engine in cars can result in a more powerful and efficient vehicle.
