For engines, it's great. For people, it's toxic. For the environment, it's horrible.
Bad piston rings. Get new engine.
Usually bad injector cups. Leaking fuel seals, fuel system restriction, and bad injectors are other possibilities.
You either have a bad float or/and bad needle and seat, which is causing the carburetor to flood. The fuel then flows through the valves and piston and mixes with the oil. The diluted oil will not lubercate and you will sieze the engine.( Not good!)
the diaphram in the fuel lift pump goes bad and leaks fuel into the engine
If you mean thin, oil breaks down with heat and wear. It needs to be changed every 2-3 thousand miles. It can also be from fuel getting into the crankcase. Either from a bad fuel pump if it has a mechanical pump on the engine or from too much fuel being put into the engine either by a bad carburetor or injectors. If it is milky that is water in the oil probably from a head gasket.
Leaking injectors that are allowing fuel to flow after shutdown, will allow fuel to flow into the cylinder. This fuel will mix with the oil and dilute it's lubricrating ability. This will cause engine wear and will eventually cause serious engine damage.
yes
Sign of bad rings or excessive fuel in cylinders. Check compression.
Three possibilities. 1. Engine oil pressure is low due to low oil or worn engine. There is a safety to prevent the fuel pump from delivering fuel if the oil pressure is too low. It keeps you from starting the engine until the low oil pressure is remedied. 2. No electrical power to the pump either due to a blown fuse or wiring problem. 3. The fuel pump is bad.
No. The exhaust manifold only carries burned exhaust fumes from the engine to the rear of the vehicle. It has nothing to do with the oil or fuel system. It also cannot prevent the engine from starting. However a clogged catalytic converter can cause the engine not to start. Fuel in the oil is caused by a leaking injector on a FI engine or a bad needle valve and seat of an carburetor engine.
Fuel in oil, engine running rich( black smoke out of exhaust) Fuel pressure to high, Spark plugs black in color. Hard to start.
your distributor usually just connects to your oil pump to help circulate oil around the engine, if your fuel pump went bad at the same time it might just be a coincidence or your bein ripped off.
