Check that the - cable is not corroded at the end that attaches to the vehicles body, sometimes when a battery is changed they get disturbed and break if corroded, also check all other earth cables from body to engine etc.
Some vehicles have a main fuse in the fusebox, sometimes the fitting of a new battery if there is an unnoticed short can blow this fuse,I have had them blow purely because they were old and the jolt of a new battery at full volts has popped them!,
Make sure you have fitted ALL the wires to the battery and to the correct terminals, sometimes a wire can drop down into the engine bay and be missed when refitting the battey, there are usually 2 red wire a heavy one and a thinner one and one heavt earth - cable (sometimes there maybe a lighter cable aswell)
Make sure all connectors are clean and free from corrosion and that they are firmly fixed to the cable and not damaged, replace any damaged ones or clean up corroded ones with wet and dry paper and refit.
The batteries may not be in correctly.

To fix the projector lamp on a Pulsar 150, start by disconnecting the battery for safety. Remove the headlight assembly by unscrewing the necessary fasteners, then carefully detach the old projector lamp from its housing. Replace it with a new lamp, ensuring it is securely fitted, and reassemble the headlight assembly. Finally, reconnect the battery and test the light to ensure it functions correctly.
I'd first suggest checking to make sure that no fuses or relays have popped, especially if the car's battery was not disconnected when the bulb was replaced.

I replaced the headlight switch on the dash and made sure battery terminals were clean and tight
To rebuild a 1985 Corvette headlight motor, first, disconnect the battery and remove the headlight assembly. Next, disassemble the motor by carefully taking apart the housing, noting the orientation and placement of each component. Clean and inspect the gears, brushes, and electrical connections for wear, replacing any damaged parts. Reassemble the motor with fresh grease, ensuring everything is aligned correctly, and then reinstall it into the headlight assembly.
