A Dead Battery
If you have no power to anything it sounds like a battery problem.
Your smoke detector may be beeping after you changed the battery because the new battery may not be properly installed or connected. Make sure the battery is inserted correctly and securely. If the issue persists, there may be a different problem with the smoke detector that requires further inspection or replacement.

Other than resetting the ECU, disconnecting the battery should not cause the bad idle. You have reset the ECU and it may need some time and driving cycles to idle correctly. But I am doubtful this is the problem. I would suspect this is just a coincidence, and you have another problem.
Radio and computer will have to re-learn. But usually there isn't a problem.

this happened to me about a week ago. i guess its some kind of computer problem, i never really figured out why it did it, but I disconnected the battery (only the negative side) and left it that way for about 24 hrs and then when i reconnected the battery it started functioning correctly again.
