You need to check body to engine grounds. Then check battery to body ground. now check engine to battery ground make sure they are clean and tight. check the positive cable going from battery to starter and make sure its clean and tight I believe you'll find the problem.
alternator. go to a parts store and have them test the charging system. must will do that for free

Generally you would need to have a replacement alternator which is only around $60 and it is refurbished but a 1999 Chevy Tahoe alternator should work just as well

The amp rating for the alternator is printed or stamped on the exterior of the alternator case. It is the numerical ampere rating followed by the letter 'A', ie, '100A' would represent a 100 ampere rated alternator.
