To remove the fan belt on a VX Commodore, first ensure the engine is off and cool. Locate the tensioner pulley and use a wrench or socket to relieve tension on the belt. Once the tension is released, carefully slide the belt off the pulleys, starting from the alternator or the water pump. After removing the belt, inspect it for wear before replacing or reinstalling a new one.

VX belt is cogged V-belt
Quite likely not! The bumpers on VY's and VX's are quite different to a VP.

To remove the window winder on a VX Commodore, first, use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the decorative cover from the winder handle. Once the cover is removed, you’ll see a small retaining clip or screw that holds the handle in place; you can either unscrew it or carefully remove the clip with the screwdriver. After that, simply pull the window winder off the shaft. If it’s stuck, you might need to wiggle it back and forth while pulling.
