To remove the window winder on a VX Commodore, first, use a flathead screwdriver to gently pry off the decorative cover from the winder handle. Once the cover is removed, you’ll see a small retaining clip or screw that holds the handle in place; you can either unscrew it or carefully remove the clip with the screwdriver. After that, simply pull the window winder off the shaft. If it’s stuck, you might need to wiggle it back and forth while pulling.

TradingPost and CarsGuide have many vehicles for sale, with the VX Commodore in their listings. CarSales has the ability to review and compare prices on their site. Websites like Craigslist and Kijiji may have personal listings from people wanting to sell their vehicles. Keeping an eye on those couldn't hurt.

To replace the release button on the center rear seat of a VX Commodore, first, remove the seat by unbolting it from the floor. Once the seat is removed, locate the mechanism for the release button, which may require some disassembly of the seat cover or frame. Replace the broken button with a new one, ensuring it fits securely in place. Finally, reassemble the seat and reinstall it in the vehicle.
