you have to replace all of your spark plug wires. there is a coil built into the top of each boot that goes over each spark plug. that's why the wires are so costly.
For the US model Ford Focus (2006), spark plugs are the only thing to replace. There are no spark plug wires. Ford recommends spark plug replacement at 100k miles.
To replace spark plugs and the air filter in a 2003 Ford Fiesta, it is important to do the spark plugs one at a time. Replace the spark plug wire each time before loosening the next plug. The air filter is enclosed in a plastic case near the left front of the engine.
