Pull them out and replace them one at a time.
start by removing one wire at a time. Replace it with the closest length matching wire. Do this one wire at a time. What ever you do, don't pull all the spark plug wires at once. You might not install the wires in the correct order. good luck.
Check firing order
Replace your spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Change oil and filter. Change air filter, pcv valve.02 sensor.
I need to know also. I can't get the spark plug wires off!
POSSIBLY UNDER THE DISTRIBUTER THERES ALOT OF WIRES GOING IN THERE

The coils are held in place with two small screws. Remove the spark plug wires making note of where each wire goes, then remove the screws and pull the coil straight out. To replace the coil line up the connectors and push the coil in place, then put the screws back in and reconnect the spark plug wires.
the ignition module is on the distributer(the thing all the spark plugs wires go to)
Use A Ford Ranger Repair Manual (1983-1992) And It Will Tell You What To Do And Give You Specific Pictures.
