Intake manifold air leak or you need to put some fuel injector cleaner in. Did you gap your plugs correctly?

There are several things that can cause your 2002 Ford Taurus to hesitate when accelerating. A dirty air filter will cause the problem.
If your Ford Escape engine sputters during acceleration, it could be due to several issues, such as a clogged fuel filter, faulty spark plugs, or a failing fuel pump. Additionally, problems with the ignition system or air intake may also cause this symptom. It's advisable to have the vehicle diagnosed by a qualified mechanic to identify the specific cause and ensure proper repairs are made. Regular maintenance can help prevent such issues from arising.
check plugs and wires, and the fuel filter for proper installation. Fuel filters have a directional arrow on them, to indicate which way to install them. If it is in backwards, that can cause fuel starvation and stalling under load, such as when you are accelerating.
The most likely cause is a dirty fuel filter that starves the engine.
There could be several reasons your car is "hiccuping" when accelerating, but a common cause would be a misfire from a bad spark plug. It's also possible your fuel system might need to be cleaned or replaced, such as your fuel lines and filter.
There are many things that could cause these problems individually. However, if all of these are happening at once, it sounds like the computer of the car is going out and needs to be replaced.
change yer fuel filter?
Your front, left or right axle needs to be replaced.
Dirty air filter is the first thing I'd check.
Check the air filter, fuel injectors, EGR valve and temperature sensor.
