There is a picture in the motor compartment.
There is a belt routing schematic on the radiator core support.
check with autozone or advance auto parts they can print u out a belt routing
Should be a diagram located under the hood on the section near the hood latch.
All 1997-and-up GTP's come from the factory with a 3800 supercharged engine. For 1997-2003 it was the 3800 Series II, and 2004-and-up it is the 3800 Series III.
It should so long as both vehicles are each Supercharged 3800's or non-supercharged 3800's and make sure the Grand Prix has a 3.8L (3800 V6) and not a 3.1L V6 (3100)
it is on the rear valve cover.very hard to get to..The pcv valve is not visible on a 3800 series II engine, which I presume you have in your Grand Prix, because it is located under the MAP sensor. You will find that at the front of the engine, where the serpentine belt is located. Unplug the connector to the MAP sensor and then you will have to unclip the sensor itself. You will then see pcv valve underneath.3For a 3800 normally asperated check out the following website for pics and instructions. http://www.scacgp.com/mods/gt_pcv.htm."G"
The belt routing diagram for a 3800 supercharged engine typically shows the serpentine belt path around various pulleys, including the alternator, power steering pump, water pump, and supercharger. The belt usually loops around the crankshaft pulley, then routes over the idler pulley and tensioner before reaching the supercharger. It's essential to follow the specific routing as indicated in the vehicle's service manual for proper installation and operation. Make sure to check for any additional components or variations based on the specific model year.

This is one of the two sensors which is downstream directly after the catalytic converter.

How to reset the computer 1999 pontiac grand prix gt 3800 series II v6?
To change the supercharger belt on a 3800 engine, first ensure the vehicle is off and cool. Remove the serpentine belt by loosening the tensioner pulley with a wrench and sliding the belt off. Then, take off the supercharger belt by loosening the tensioner for that belt and removing it from the pulleys. Install the new supercharger belt by routing it according to the belt diagram, ensuring it sits properly in the grooves, and then reapply tension to the tensioner.
