it should not blow thru the PVC valve if it does means the cam bearings are bad its called blow by

This is a process that should be done with care. Looking through your user's manual or taking to a mechanic can make sure it is done right.
You may be hard pressed to find the manual; cannot check right now as the Sears manual site is down for maintenance. but the parts site is active.
