It is very very expenisive and it can go rusty if you don't use it fo a very long time ....
copper losses Comment: Advantages: Their operation is silent They have a high efficiency They are relatively safe Disadvantages Expensive Copper losses and hysteress losses
Could have radation poisoning
Copper will change overtime. Perfect example is the Statue of Liberty. She has copper sheets and the salt air has made her green. This is oxidation that causes it to turn.
I cannot imagine any advantage of copper coating stainless? Stainless will not oxidize as readily as copper. I have uses lead coated copper flashing that was exposed to acid rain and bird droppings etc.
Advantages, Disadvantages and ApplicationsThe various advantages of Shaded pole motors includes Very cheap and reliableEasy to constructExtremely rugged in natureDisadvantages includesLow efficiencyLow starting torqueSince the shading coil is made of copper, the copper loss is high.See the related link for further information.
Advantages: Electrolysis can produce very pure copper with high quality and conductivity. It is an efficient and environmentally friendly method that allows for large scale production. Disadvantages: Electrolysis requires a significant amount of energy, making it costly compared to other methods of copper purification. It also produces a large amount of waste in the form of sludge or byproducts that need to be properly disposed of.
One advantage of using recycled copper is that if you compare with the increasing rate of mobile phone/telecommunication and other metal based items sales, demand for copper materials also vastly increased (mobile phone industries). It would be a great idea if they then reused copper as they would save money and have a "greener" image to the public.
errrrr i dunnno <- erm hello, if you dont know the answer then dont answer!
Advantage: It a constantly developing city Disadvantage: It is hard to earn money air pollution noise ileagle copper and stell smelters .
Over time the copper will start to turn and become pitted from being exposed to heat, rain, snow or sun. The hinges could end up rusting from exposure resulting in problems opening or closing the lid completely.
Copper sulfate can cause hemolysis, or the destruction of red blood cells, leading to anemia and potentially kidney damage. Additionally, copper sulfate can interfere with the accuracy of hemoglobin testing results by affecting the color reaction. Overall, using copper sulfate in hemoglobin testing may introduce risks to the patient's health and impact the accuracy of test results.
Bell and Gosset, Dayton, and Armstrong. Disadvantage is turbulance in copper pipes which makes the pipe wall and fittings thinner and WILL eventually leak.
