Wear in the front end components, and or, (excessive stress) caused by the wrong size tires, or different sized tires, and or, front end damage from an accident of some type.
Check the allignment of all the pully's.
it could be your brakes? does it go to the right when you press the brake, if so then you should release the air from the right brake, if not maybe your allignment is not good.
you need the allignment doing if it is pulling to one side
most of the time bad allignment or not balanced tires. You could also have a bent rim.
The allignment goes awry; causing the tire to rub more so on one side than the other.
The car wants you to take it to a certified mechanic, for a change.

Most the time that means it needs a front end allignment. Possible bad front tire or wheel.
What causes a car to screech is when you get too excited to go fast you step on the gas pedal or in other words you floor it! This causes the tires to regain grip on the ground and makes the screech noise.
