A camshaft can break for several reasons. The shaft could have a defect causing it to break, or something in the engine could bind up and put pressure on the camshaft, causing the damage.
drive shaft could be out of balance or tires could be out of round
You bet it can. A bent or out of balance drive shaft will cause serious shaking. A defective U-Joint will also cause it to shake and is very dangerous.
Several things could cause that: Worn shocks/struts Worn front end parts Tires out of balance Drive shaft out of balance Loose wheel
Break, as in come apart in several pieces or the outside ring came loose from the center. In the first case if there was no damage to it then a bad casting would probably be the cause. In the second case, over reving or dumping the clutch could be the cause.
well, it could also be wheel bearings, font drive shaft (if 4x4), the shaft it self could be out of balance, or just worn cv joints it all depends you have to take a lot in consideration.
It turns the balance shaft. The balance shaft helps reduce vibration in the motor. It is usually driven by a belt that is connected from the balance shaft to the crank shaft and a tention adjusting wheel used to apply tension to the belt. Hope this helps, Dirk.
Wheel balance or drive shaft balance. Could be bearings also.
on some engine designs when the timing slips or is wrong the valve train will hit the pistons. something has to break, the valves, pistons, or the rods will bend.
Yes it does have a balance shaft also known as a silent shaft.
Something has bound the shaft or crank on the engine to cause the key to pop. Could be if it backfired - that will cause the shear pin to break - or if you caught something underneath it with the blades that would cause it.
I would recommend that you do put a crank shaft head on a crank shaft. Putting any other type of head on a crank shaft could possibly break the head.
