Horn Relay is failing (switch is closing) perhaps due to cold weather. Take relay out and test in freezer to see if switch closes. Or, there is a short somewhere in the circuitry - especially look at the steering wheel horn switch, as that assembly moves and could have been chaffed.

Why does the horn not work on your Chevrolet Cavalier?

If the horn on your Chevrolet Cavalier isn't working, it could be due to a few common issues. First, check the fuse related to the horn, as a blown fuse can prevent it from functioning. Additionally, the horn itself may be faulty or there could be a problem with the horn relay or the wiring. Finally, ensure that the horn button in the steering wheel is not malfunctioning, as this can also cause the horn to fail.

If the horn on a 2000 Daewoo Lanos goes off by itself, it could be due to a stuck horn button, a malfunctioning relay, or a wiring issue. Start by checking the horn button on the steering wheel for any debris or damage that may cause it to stick. Next, inspect the horn relay and wiring for any signs of short circuits or corrosion. If these components are functioning properly, the problem may lie within the horn itself, which may need to be replaced.

Why would a horn not blow on a 1999 Saturn if the fuses are good?

It could be the horn relay which is typically located in the fuse box. It could also possibly be a defective horn switch which can be checked at the proper relay pin location. You will need a service manual for the proper pin location. The wiring could be bad. Or it could just be the horn itself.
