I would suspect a spark ignition timing problem. If the car starts but the engine stalls, it's probably not the charging system (battery and starter motor).
One thing I have noticed about my '92 SC300 is that it is very sensitive to the flow rate on its oil filter. I've tried to use cheaper filters, like a Fram, and the flow rate is too low for the car to sustain combustion and it idles very rough. I use only Mobil 1 oil filters now and no problems.
Lol, there could be many reasons for that. Easiest way is to try putting on a clean fuel filter.
Check for clogged fuel filter; check coil, alternator/generator.
If your Dodge Stealth cranks but won't stay running, it could be due to several issues. Common causes include a faulty fuel pump, clogged fuel filter, or issues with the ignition system, such as bad spark plugs or ignition coils. Additionally, a malfunctioning sensor, like the mass airflow sensor or throttle position sensor, may also prevent the engine from maintaining idle. It's best to troubleshoot these components or consult a mechanic for a thorough diagnosis.
There could be many of things wrong on why a 1986 BMW 325 I will not stay running. The most common thing that happens when a car will not stay running is because the spark plugs have went bad.
What could be the problem when a 2002 Volvo won't stay stared
Check the map senor
It could be your EGR valve.
Type your answer here... It could possibly be the ignition switch.
there could be water in the gas, your cab is not adjusted right, the coil is going bad
Older vehicle, More then likely a fuel pump prob, Next time it dies, Put about a ounce of gas in the carb, Crank it, If it cranks up and dies, Replace the pump. Thanks {R}
Check the daytime running lights module. This has failed with other manufactures resulting in lights that stay on, or are very dim while the vehicle is running.
There could be several reasons why your furnace won't stay running, such as a clogged air filter, a malfunctioning thermostat, or a problem with the ignition system. It's best to contact a professional HVAC technician to diagnose and fix the issue.
