I started by removing the camshaft cover, then I realized the many other parts have to be removed before being able to succesfuly replace the sensor.... I also would like to know the procedure. Thanks
dirty exhaust system. All Matiz are like that. Could as well be rear weel bearings
The camshaft position sensor on a 1992 Buick Regal looks like the end of a ratchet.
The Daewoo Matiz is generally compatible with several fuel pumps, including those from brands like Aisin, Delphi, and Bosch. Specific models may vary depending on the engine type and production year, so it’s important to verify compatibility based on the vehicle's specifications. For the best results, consult the vehicle’s manual or a trusted auto parts supplier for the exact fuel pump model that fits your Daewoo Matiz.
You can find a wiring diagram for the Daewoo Matiz in the vehicle's service manual, which is often available for purchase online or at automotive bookstores. Additionally, websites like automotive forums, DIY repair sites, or platforms like eBay may offer downloadable versions. Finally, you might also check with local automotive repair shops or dealerships that may provide access to such diagrams.
I would like to know the samething!
The camshaft sensor for your vehicle actually looks like a small distributor, only with 2 wires coming from it. It is about as big as a mans outstretched hand. It is located on the top front of the engine near the water neck.
It depends on which sensor, O2/camshaft,etc. The O2 sensor is a straight metal sensor that is screwed into the exhaust. There is an upstream/bank1-sensor1 or down stream/bank1-sensor2 after the catalytic converter. A camshaft sensor is an L shaped, usually black sensor that is installed into the head closest to the firewall(bank1).
At the back of the engine, looks like a distributor!
I would like to know where the cam sensor is on a 1999 pathfinder and is there one or they calling it a crank shaft sensor The cam shaft position sensor is located in the distributor.
looks similar to the camshaft sensor, but it's located in the bell housing on the transmission on passenger side.
If you remove the distributor cap and rotor then you will see the cam sensor bolted on the distributor and it will have an electrical connector pluged into it.
