That might depend on the year Lancer you're talking about.
For my 2008 GTS, my fuel filter is located inside my fuel pump, meaning when I have to replace the filter, I've got to replace the pump. I don't know how long Mitsubishi has been doing this, so you might be in the same boat as me.
The same as a good one
Drive it like you stole it!!
no it dosent only filter it has is the diesel filter under the bonnet change that if still running bad check the tank fuel pump as they rot like mad
The intake air temperature sensor for a 2008 Mitsubishi Lancer is on the intake tube in front of the throttle body. It looks like a small metal box.
Check the fuel filter and the fuel pump pressure. The problem sounds like the fuel pressure is too low to keep the engine running.
You have to match the RPM's to the engine in a lancer, because the stock engine, like in my oz rally, is for drift racing, and you need your RPM's matched well to accel and keep control while in corners.
It's possible to find a 2009 Mitsubishi Lancer at used car dealership. If that's not possible then sites like craigslist or ebay can provide one if one is lucky.
The best gasoline for a Mitsubishi Lancer typically depends on the specific model and engine type. For most models, regular unleaded gasoline with an octane rating of 87 is recommended. However, if you have a performance-oriented version like the Lancer Evolution, premium gasoline with a higher octane rating (usually 91 or higher) is advised to maximize performance and efficiency. Always consult the owner's manual for the best fuel recommendations for your specific vehicle.
did u check the fuel line....it's always nearby the fuel rail connection, close to front wheels left usually, it'sa shiny aluminum container like....
Well, it sounds like your Mitsubishi Lancer may have an issue with its fuel system or ignition system. It could be a clogged fuel filter, a faulty fuel pump, or a problem with the ignition coil. I recommend taking it to a trusted mechanic who can diagnose the issue and help get your car back to running smoothly. Remember, mistakes are just happy accidents on the road to fixing your car!
It looks like what a fuel filter should be
depends i have a completely modified lancer that looks like an evo and pushes 265 whp. I've also seen some pretty awesome chick cars
