An electronic spark module, commonly used in ignition systems of internal combustion engines, controls the timing and delivery of electrical sparks to the spark plugs. It ensures precise ignition timing for optimal engine performance and efficiency, often replacing traditional mechanical components. This module enhances reliability, improves fuel efficiency, and reduces emissions by providing accurate spark timing under various operating conditions.
check the knock sensor if that's not it try the electronic spark control moduel
TRY IGNITION CONTROL MODUEL. THAT WOULD BE A GOOD GUESS.
try the moduel
Where is the electronic spark control located a 1995 Chevy Tahoe

electronic spark modulator bad.
I believe in 93 they had the newer style computer, this eliminated the electronic spark control module.
ESC stands for Electronic Spark Control it may also stand for Electronic Stability Control. The Electronic Spark Control module will retard the timing if it detects any spark knock or pinging or even other similar sounds made by the engine such as lifter knock.
Right next to the gas moduale
Platinum spark plugs, 100K. Standard spark plugs, 50K.
try a new ignition moduel!!
