To replace the speed sensor on a Honda Pilot you first need to research it. There are two speed sensors on the Honda Pilot. One is on the transmission the other is on the left front wheel. To replace the one on the tranny all you do is unscrew it. To change the other you have to remove the wheel, brake caliper and caliper bracket. Then you remove the hub. Then you pull it out.

Very common problem on the 2003 Honda Pilot. The tumblers go bad and it will cost around $400 for a dealer to replace. Honda should have a recall on this.
The backup sensor fuse for a 2011 Honda Pilot is located in the under-hood fuse box. To access it, open the hood and find the fuse box on the driver's side near the battery. Look for the fuse labeled "BACKUP" or "REVERSE," which is typically a 10A fuse. If you need to replace it, ensure the vehicle is turned off before doing so.
approx $600-$800, and can be $1000+ at a Honda dealer
