Usually, either a bad (temperature sensitive due to bad diodes) alternator or corrosion where the positive cable attaches to the battery. Failing that, it means something else. Get it checked or you're going to have a problem.
you need a new battery usally every ten years there is probably a warranty on it chech it out
Battery could possibly be burnt out.
open the hood then undo the positive red battery cable then undo the negative cable and you will need a 10mm socket wrench to loosen the safety clamp hold plate that keeps the battery from turning over do this and your done
There is an engine misfire, probably spark plugs issue.
Have you checked your battery?
No, but a Chevy dealer can. The light is on because there is a problem with the system. Get this fixed immediately or you may have an accident.
