Dexron II, IIE or III ATF Transmission Fluid
automatic transmission fluid, ATF
Auto trans fluid (atf)Auto trans fluid (atf)
In a 1993 Ford Ranger, the transfer case typically uses a different type of fluid than the transmission. The transfer case usually requires automatic transmission fluid (ATF) or a specific transfer case fluid, depending on the model. It's important to consult the owner's manual or service manual for the exact specifications for both the transfer case and transmission fluids to ensure proper maintenance.
The transmission could have a bad seal or have too much internal pressure causing the fluid to come from the 93 Suburban vent hole. The Fluid is probably leaking slowly, and that is why the level still shows normal.
NO.You can only use a 93 or 94 only
quick answer...no in the 86 the transfer case driveshaft output was on the passenger side in 93 the were drivers side so unless u plan on swapping axles too then no if u switch axles then yes but that may affect steering suspension ride height clearance problems...
