That means you have a leak. Eventually your Power Steering will fail (no longer have power assist) and your pump will burn up. You can put some power steering fluid plus stop leak (all in one) in it, but I would also recommend that you crawl under the car and look for the leak.
Alot of transmission fluids are the same as power steering fluid so I wouldnt worry
it will be difficult to turn your steering wheel
My Ford Explorer takes automatic transmission fluid for the power steering fluid so I guess it would depend on what type of vehicle you have and what type of power steering fluid is supposed to be used
You will screw your steering system. You need to flush steering system ASAP. And of course do not drive with engine oil in steering.
Overfilling a power steering system with fluid can cause overpressure. You may cause a leak in your lines or pump.
it will cause you seals to ware out
It will Probably EXPLODE!!
power steering fluid is fluid that makes the power steering pump work and it goes in the power steering pump under the hood.
The power steering fluid recommended is Mopar
Remove the plug on the bottom of the power steering fluid pump. Drain the power steering fluid out. Replace the plug to the bottom of the power steering pump. Replace the power steering fluid.
