Your car will run (poorly) during that tank of gas and it will smoke like crazy while the Transmission Fluid goes through the engine. Secondarily, the transmission fluid (being very high in detergents and cleaners) will clean your injectors and top end of your cylinders quite nicely. Not a recommended way to clean them, but if you get it in there accidentally that will be the silver lining.
The 1989 Mitsubishi transmission fluid tank can be found on the bottom of the transmission. The transmission fluid tank is known as the transmission fluid pan.
the cooling tank in the radiator for the transmission is bad
your gas tank
What happens when chicken bone gets stuck in gas tank
Coolant? Bad radiator Radiator has a separate cooling tank (usually at the side or bottom of radiator) for transmission fluid. At times this tank ruptures allowing coolant to get into transmission. Most times causing a transmission failure.
NOTHING
The radiator has a transmission cooling tank in it. Evidently the tank has cracked. You may have a crack in your radiator your transmission cooling line runnz in your radiator good luck
When you changed the Radiator did you flush the engine to remove the transmission fluid that the already mixed with your water in the engine block. If not that would explain the presence of the fluid in the coolant holding tank.
if you have an automatic transmission there should be cooling lines going to the radiator to cool the transmission fluid the lines could be leaking or the tank could be leaking
Most Likely you have a leak from the transmission cooling tank on your radiator to the antifreeze portion of the radiator. Jeff
Vehicles with an automatic transmission may have lines that carry transmission fluid from the transmission to a separate tank on the bottom of the radiator.
no there is still fluid in the torque convertor, lines & cooling tank
