If you do get the plug wires in the right firing order, the car will sound like it is missing realy bad. This is caused by not having the corect order of fire. Check with your local parts dealer for the right firing order.

You might have switched the plug wires. Meaning that you put a plug wire in the wrong spark plug which messes with the firing order.
It is either out of time, or you have one or more plug wires hooked to the wrong plug. If you did not move the distributor then you have the wires wrong.
mine doesn't have plug wires but mines a 4.6. It has individual coils on the plugs.
