How do you change brake pad on s60
The brake pad wear sensor is on the brake pads. On my 318ti, the sensor is on the left side, on the inboard pad.
Carefully pry pad wear sensor from brake pad. Then insert brake pad wear sensor into cutout in new pad where applicable.
Using brake pad lubricant spray during a brake pad replacement helps reduce noise and vibration, improves brake performance, prevents corrosion, and extends the lifespan of the brake pads.
To extend the lifespan of a bicycle brake pad, regularly clean the braking surface, adjust the brake pads for proper alignment, and replace them when they show signs of wear. Additionally, avoid riding in wet or muddy conditions as this can accelerate brake pad wear.
To perform a Tektro brake pad replacement on your bicycle, follow these steps: Start by loosening the brake pad retention bolt using an Allen wrench. Remove the old brake pad by sliding it out of the brake pad holder. Insert the new brake pad into the holder, making sure it is aligned correctly. Tighten the retention bolt to secure the new brake pad in place. Repeat the process for the other brake pad if necessary. Test the brakes to ensure they are working properly before riding your bicycle.

Everyone has their own opinion on the best brake pads. My personal opinion is using a NAPA name brand brake pad. I have had great experience with Napa products and believe they have the cheapest and best brake pads around.

A brake pad is the friction surface, replaced as it wears, between the caliper and the rotor.
After your brake pads have been replaced, scroll to the brake pad life display. On the brake pad life display hold the scroll button in until the brake pad life goes to 100 percent.
