Between 4-7 psi, make sure you have a psi guage, before the carb. It's always good to have, an adjustable fuel pressure regulater, before the fuel pressure guage....
The holley has more cfm`s cubic feet per minute than a regular carb.and it also puts double the fuel into the intake faster than a regular carb.
The fuel pressure for a 2 bbl carb is 4-5 lbs.
The Holley website has an interactive carburetor selector (see related link). Holley doesn't make just one product, as there were several engines made without Electronic Fuel Injection - thus, they make a range of products for different engines.
Sounds like the carb needs a bigger discharge nozzle and possibly a different cam for the accelerator pump. There are some good books on the subject of tuning a Holley carb. Might want to start with reading what's available on Holley's website.
what year? fuel inj.?carb.? if it's fuel inj. it's 40-45 lbs. if it's got a carb. it's 7-14lbs
Could be,Faulty check valve in the fuel pump,Faulty or dirty needle and seat in carb,Faulty or out of adjustment fuel float in carb,
Carb. 12-17 psi
There is only one fuel inlet. If you have a double pumper Holley then the one will branch off to two.
Could be,Faulty check valve in the fuel pump,Faulty or dirty needle and seat in carb,Faulty or out of adjustment fuel float in carb,
Too much fuel pressure. that typically happens when needle valve (carb pressure control) is blown off the seat.
Depending on the engine, if your car has the v-8, the fuel pressure is regulated by the fuel pump output. Normal pressure would be 6-9 psi at the carb inlet.
this is a carb unit there should be a nice flow of fuel but pressure is not possible because this has no fuelpump
