It is called a rotary engine. Go to wikipedia.com and type in 'Rotary Engine', it has a diagram of how it works. The rx7 has a two rotar engine with a total displacement of 80 cu. inches. Or if you need ricer numbers... its a 1.3 liter engine. Go to wikipedia, it's actually pretty cool!
