5 years or 72,000 miles, whichever is sooner.
How to remove ecu from a renault clio 2003
Depends on the model - for diesels its every 72000 miles but I'd recommend changing it at 54000 as I've heard some horror stories of cambelts breaking at between 64 - 72k
cambelt should be changed at 70,000 miles , i was quoted £360 at Renault main dealer for cambelt change only , but had cambelt plus water pump changed for £357 at an independent garage.
Inspecting the cambelt on a Clio 1.5 dCi can be somewhat challenging due to the engine layout and limited access. While it is possible to visually assess the condition of the cambelt, proper inspection often requires removing various components for a better view. It's advisable to consult a professional mechanic or refer to a service manual for detailed guidance on the inspection process.
Probably about £600 maximum, depending on mileage and features. Low mileage and alot of features? £600 High mileage and no features? £450
100,000 miles Danno
Originally it was due to be approx 50k miles but due to them snapping and damaging the engine Renault then changed the advisory to every 36k miles. Get the timing belt kit as well so it will be under warranty.
Renault in Clapham Bedfordshire quoted me £900.00 for mine to be changed. I eventualy used a non-Renault garage who changed it for half the cost.
