I have been putting 10W30 Maxlife Valvoline in my 97 Ford Thunderbird. It is partially a synthetic oil that cuts down on wear and tear on your high mileage engine.
It uses R134 refrigerant.
You should compare the type of coolant, not the brand name. If it's the same type then it should be okay. If it's not, then no, it's not alright.
if car is blowing cold air, you need to check the thermostat,the heater core, and the heat control. the coolant will not blow cold air unless there is no coolant at all in engine,then you have bigger problem anyway
