In a 1999 Infiniti G20, power steering fluid is added to the power steering reservoir, which is typically located near the engine, on the driver's side. The reservoir is often marked with a cap labeled "Power Steering" or a similar indication. To check or add fluid, ensure the engine is off, remove the cap, and fill it to the recommended level indicated on the reservoir. Always use the specified type of power steering fluid as outlined in the owner's manual.

The power steering resevoir cap on my 2001 Infinity i30 says to use "Dextron Type ATF". Folks, "ATF" stand for "automatic transmission fluid". Even though the cap says to use it in place of "power steering fluid", I was cautious about it. I visited the local Nissan dealership and asked the parts department guy about it. He told me that some models of Infinities use transmission fluid in the power steering system.
