Both valves of the number one piston must be closed. This happens when the camshaft gear timing mark is lined up with the mark on the camshaft seal cover(mark is right on top-a notch in the top center of the plate of metal sticking up). The problem is that there are two marks on the gear and both have the "E" stamped nearby as required. Through trial and error I was able to determine the one that created pressure from the piston(because the wrong mark, when lined up, left one or more valves open so I felt no pressure.) Yet I still had problems getting the timing correct.
The 1994 Suzuki Sidekick typically features a 1.6L inline-4 engine, which has a timing specification of 0 degrees BTDC (before top dead center) for ignition timing. The timing belt should be replaced every 60,000 miles or as recommended in the service manual. The engine's valve timing is set to ensure optimal performance and fuel efficiency. Always refer to the owner's manual or a service guide for the most accurate and specific information.
pull out the fuse
Does it crank?
In the glove box on the passenger side of the car
head valves no. it will wreck the cat convert and flood motor because the eCu will go nuts with a dead cylinder and pulsing vacuum.
Feck off big hammer!
I found that bad caps in the ECM (computer) will cause the IGN (ignition) fuse to blow.
what are the vavle timing mark's for a 1994 Plymouth acclaim
check if you have fuel and spark it needs both to work
Usually a problem in the emission control system - have vehicle scanned to determine the problem
Disconnect IAC valve- ACC valve sub harness connector.
