You failed to mention the year as that is very important. If it is the older style then you could have a bad heater control valve. Old or new you could have a stopped up heater core. If that is the case then you will need to flush and back flush it until it runs clear. If it is the newer ones then you could have a defective blend door.

Behind the assembly is where the bulb goes. Unplug the electrical connecter. You turn the bulb 1/4 of a turn and pull it out. DO NOT touch the glass part at all as the bulb will possibly blow out when turned on.
