sounds like a bad CV joint. If you are so inclined to get under your car, check the boot just behind your brake rotor. squeeze it a little and see if there is a crack in it. Or, if you have a lot of grease on the inside of your rim or on your steering componets, then you need a new c v joint. You can either buy a new cv joint, or be a little lazy like me and just buy a new 1/2 shaft. Good luck..
