Unless your car has been modified, or is faulty, the brake lights will go on when you touch the brake, wherever you're driving at that moment.
Or are you perhaps thinking about the fog lights? These should be put on when visibility is reduced.
Depending on the weather conditions yes. But your discretion is advised while operating your emergency lights on a freeway or highway. Under certain circumstances you may use your hazard lights but be cautious.
No , the rear brake lights do not turn on when you use your parking brake , just the brake light on your dash is supposed to come on
WEllllllllll as long as you have working brake lights, headlights, and signal lights then yes, yes indeed.
Check the sensor on the brake pedal arm. Brake lights and tail lights use different elements in the bulb also some cars have separate bulb for each. Check the bulbs.
Yes, it has brake lights.
Many cars use the same bulb for the brake and turn indicator. Seems like one is burnt out. Have someone step on the brake and see if one of the brake lights does not respond.
I found it easier to use the wires to the tail lights on the tractor.
Yes they indeed have brake lights...
If you have a manual gearbox you should use neutral AND foot brake at traffic lights. If you have automatic you can leave it in Drive with your foot firmly on the foot brake. (Some instructors would tell you to move it to neutral and keep your foot on the foot brake.)
Since most brake/turn use the same filament in the bulb(1157) then if the turn signal switch is bad or offset then it will effect the brake lights.
Then the brake lights are out but the middle one still lights up. (:
You may have disconnected the earth return or battery wire for the brake lights. This is only a possible solution if the brake lights do not use the frame as an earth return directly adjacent to the brake light housing. Normally the switch operated by the brake pedal or lever connects and earth to the brake circuit to light the brake lamp.
