For everyones info
the front lamp harness and main ground for it are plauged with problems though the years on a "J" car (cavalier, sunfire). the ground is achieved through a "comb" looking bar that is bolted to the frame below the washer jug that all of the front harness and anti-lock brake module and trac control all hook to. GM has a habit of putting these where moisture accumulates you need to cut it off and solder or crimp all of the wires to large eyelet and clean up the frame and reground it. That's not the worst of the problem though, in that front harness there are numerous factory splices the orange circuit, the white, the black ground circuit and don't even think about reaching them to repair then because it is impossible for one thing and the corrosion has traveled down the wiring so far that you will be replacing short lengths of wire. instructions: unplug every lamp and horn in the front the air bag sensor (dead center in the front) remove the washer jug lower bolt and you can strip the harness out of the way toward the firewall (you can unbolt it and remove it to a work area if you want at this point) and carefully slice it open with a razor and repair all of the spices adding wire if ness. G. M. recommends just self sealing crimp connectors because soldering just heats the wire and makes it corrode faster--Hmmm mabey they should of thought of that. This harness is the reason you see so many with one dim headlight, no parking lights, little green light on the dash anti-lock/trac control, air bag light ect. The harness new from GM is about 700.00 if you want to replace it

For the PS2 version there is not any indicators (blinkers). I dont think there any on there other consoles ether, but there is a horn and headlights.
They dont work. The bulbs are the most problems. Fix it!
my headlights work but my taillights and dash light dont work whats wrong
Not sure what Kind of car this is, but usually if the blinkers run fast it's because you have a bulb burnt out. I'd check your tailights first.
the hazard switch has two sets of contacts. when hazards turned on, blinkers cannot work, even if hazards dont work.for blinkers to work, hazard sw must be in off position-this reconnects blinker circuits to work normally. BUT-the contacts in the hazard sw get dirty and wont reconnect the blinkers to work
It sounds to me like you have wiring problems.
It is illegal through out the US. With headlights already being white makes it hard to see white blinkers.
If both blinker and hazards dont work check your flasher switch.
one of two things, BAD EARTH, or Relay switch.
fuse, swich, cut wire or the flasher could be out. iwould put my money on the flasher.
check the fudes check headlights for power then check light switch
GO AND BUY I NEW light bulb !
