One can purchase EBC brake pads and rotors online from stores like Auto Anything, EBC Brakes Shop, RDA Brakes, EBC Brakes Direct and eBay. These brake pads can also be purchased from other sources than the ones specified.
According to customer reviews the best brake pads and rotors are EBC brake rotors and pads. They are manufactured in Britain and can be found at any auto store including Canadian Tire in Canada.
Actually there is no one answer for this question. Because best brake pad and rotor set may not suit your car. But I may advice you to install standart Jaguar rotors and ebc redstuff brake pads. These will be good enough to stop your car when needed!
As long as you ask for OEM quality brake pads you will have quality. EBC, Wagner, & Brembo all make excellent pads.
Brembo are the original fitment EBC brake pads work just as well and are half the price. Sintered pads are required for the front and the original fitment for the rear is non sintered.
Most NAPA auto part stores do carry EBC rotors. If they do not have the part in stock they can order it for you and you can pick it up when it arrives.
EBC rotors are a good choice for their easy installation process, performance, and fit. You can read reviews at http://www.ebcbrakes.com/reviews/3gd_sport_rotors-reviews.shtml.
There are tons of great pads out there for the Toyota Camry, as well as a host of other braking upgrades and options. As far as an install and forget type of pad, EBC makes some great pads that perform much better than the OEM pads and cost a LOT less. I've included a few links here for you to pads and other upgrades as well such as: fluid, stainless steel brake lines, performance rotors and even big brake kits. Cheers, GPI Performance
On average, the price of these brake pads range anywhere from 50-85$. Depending on size and such, a normal vehicle would tend to range in the 40-50$ range. Competition however, range anywhere from 20-30$ on a normal sized vehicle.
There are several good brands of brake pads. Raybestos has been in business for over 100 years and are responsible for many new innovations. EBC has been in business since 1978 and are one of the most sought after pads in both the U.S. and the UK.
EBC and Brembo are two good companies that provide break pads that have a long performance life and are of good quality.
Depends on driving habits. Stop and go less time, Highway- more time. I have a 2006 A6 with 28K normal driving on it. I had it in for a service and the dealer said I need front and rear brakes plus I need front and rear rotors. He wanted about $1600 to do it. Why are you considering the dealer to do it? Find an independent repair shop that works on imports. Also, stock pads and rotors are generally not the best, unless you have an S6 or an RS6. For what it is worth, rotors that can be turned are a rarity. Here is what I did with my A4. I bought aftermarket pads and rotors (Brembo), and called a local import repair shop in my area. He quoted me $350 for the installation. I spent $500 on the parts. I really would never use the dealer. I had the car in for a service covered under warranty and that's when they gave me this quote. I have a really good local Audi specialist I usually use. But this time I'm just ordering the parts like you did and I'll do it myself. I'm getting EBC pads and will check the rotors before changing. Thanks for the answer.
