Dont. Just cut the line and use a universal fuel filter and some fuel hose
You need to go up to AutoZone and buy a fuel filter line tool. About $10.
Follow the fuel line forward from the fuel tank to the fuel pump and look for the filter. If you do not find it, then follow the fuel line from the fuel pump mounted on the engine block to the carburetor. If you do not find it, then your Rambler may have the filter mounted at the fuel line intake on the carburetor itself. If you see a large bolt type connection at the fuel intake of the carburetor, the filter is located behind that bolt. Slowly and carefully remove that bolt with the proper tool and you will find a cartridge type filter that is spring loaded. If you buy the filter first then you will know what type it has. In-line or cartridge.Follow the fuel line forward from the fuel tank to the fuel pump and look for the filter. drain the fuel, remove the fuel filter from inside the tank, remove the old fuel line from the filter, remove the old fuel line from the carb, pull old fuel line out, install new fuel line through the tank, reconnect fuel filter to new fuel line, place filter and slack line into tank, connect new fuel line to carb, refill tank, check for leaks.
Polaris fuel filters are usually in the fuel line coming from the valve that turns fuel off. This model does not seem to have an inline filter, however you can always buy a universal one and splice it into the line so that then it does have one
I'm not sure what a "fuel line bar" is. If it's a metal fuel line it won't hurt for the oil filter to touch it when removing the filter.
There isn't one. Buy an in-line filter and about a 3inch piece of fuel tube, pull your fuel line off of the petcock (little thing where you switch fuel between on, off and reserve). Put the old line into the filter and the new line from the other side of the filter back in the petcock. Make sure the filter is tightly screwed together too, sometime they come in the package real loose and you don't want fuel all over your bike.
The fuel filter is in the line back at the tank
Change in line fuel filter
fuel line has leak or fuel filter needs to be replaced
Ford fuel pumps are in the fuel tank. The line comes from the top of the tank, alongside the frame, to the injector manifold. the fuel filter is on the frame below the drivers door. in order the replace the filter you will need to buy a tool the replace it.
The fuel filter is located along the fuel line just prior to the fuel line entering the carburetor. This filter is a metal canister with 3 line fittings.
The filter is on the carburetor ,the fuel line from the fuel pump connects to it. Remove the fuel line , using a wrench on the filter as well to keep it from turning , then remove the filter (steel) from the carburetor .
