Bars Leak products can typically be added to the radiator or overflow tank of a vehicle's cooling system, depending on the specific product instructions. It's important to ensure the engine is cool before adding the solution to avoid burns or injury. Additionally, some Bars Leak products are designed for use in the oil system or transmission, so always refer to the product label for proper application guidelines.

While it may be okay to put Bars into your transmission system. It is NOT recommended. Eventually the stop leak material builds up in you shift valve passages and causes your transmission to enter "Limp Mode". This makes your transmission run poorly until you get it serviced which can cost quite a bit more than just fixing the original problem properly.
