Start from the rear where the factory trailer lights wiring harness is, or from the taillights/brakelights themselves. Follow the wire (I think it should be blue) from the harness or taillights to the wiring harness as it runs to the (driver's side) under hood fuse panel. Again, it should be blue in color. On a Tekonsha brake controller you'll hook the red wire to it anywhere along that wire. Hope that helps.
