Continue with our daily lives but I don't think they are going anywhere.
If you are going to continue riding it through the winter (we ride all year long where I live), maybe dropping down to a lighter weight oil and checking the coolant is all I do on my KTM 525.
Possible, but rare. The coolant may be circulating too fast to have time to dissipate heat when going through the radiator.Possible, but rare. The coolant may be circulating too fast to have time to dissipate heat when going through the radiator.
Only if the coolant level is diminishing. It's not that you need to top it up every month, week or days. It's you need to maintain a full level of it (the coolant reservoir has a MAX and MIN mark on it.) If your coolant level keeps going down you need to find out the reason, why you are loosing coolant. It might be a broke seal on the radiator cap, weared hose, loosed hose connector, weared water pump assembly, or the worst--weared engine gasket. If the coolant keeps going down, you better pay attention to the level of it "DAILY" not monthly. If not, you are ok to check it monthly as a precaution.
Check coolant level Could be alternator going bad Could be coolant fan going bad
Imagine people in a race or a line. If you drop out, you leave the line or race. Dropping out means quitting, stopping whatever is going on. Often, you hear of "dropping out of school," which means someone quits going to school before they graduate.
i don't know but i am going to find out
The overflow tank for coolant will "boil" if there is air getting in the coolant chamber. This can be a head gasket going bad.
You may need to add fluid to your cooling system. These lights are programed to alert you if the levels are low.
This is one small problem with this generation Cougar, is that many of the low coolant sensors give false readings, saying that the tank is low when it is in fact, at the MAX line. To correct this, you can safely add coolant about .5"-1" above the MAX line without the reservoir overflowing when the engine get's hot.
going to the gym,daily.
Most newer cars have the coolant sensor in the overflow bottle. Filling this will probably take care of it. Where the coolant is going is another issue. Head gas kit
