In a 1989 Pontiac Firebird, the fuel pump reset switch, also known as the fuel module reset switch, is typically located in the trunk area. It can usually be found near the fuel tank or on the rear wall of the trunk, often close to the fuel filler neck. If you're having trouble locating it, consult the vehicle's owner manual for specific guidance.

You can reset the alarm on your 99 Firebird in three main ways. First, look for a switch underneath the dash in the driver's side and flip it three times. Second, you can open the fuse box to check if the alarm is still working, and third, look for a valet switch located somewhere on the cabin. It should be able to temporarily disable the alarm until you switch it on again.
