If it has an external one then Ford almost always put them along the fuel line under the driver seat or the rear seat on the drivers side before you get to the wheel well. It will look like a little soup can and you will need a tool that slips in the grooves of the connectors and slip the connectors off. You can get one at any auto parts store. If you dont see one then this vehicle has a "screen" that is part of the fuel pump and cannot be serviced except by taking out the fuel pump. Hope this helps you.
