On a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac : I believe the PCV valve is on the REAR of the drivers side engine valve cover ( between the valve cover and the firewall )
The PCV valve on q 2007 Torrent is made into the valve cover. It is not removable, the valve cover and PCV valve must be replaced together.
On a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac : Yes , the Single Over Head Cam 4.0 litre V6 engine does have a PCV valve I believe it is on the REAR of the drivers side engine valve cover ( between the valve cover and the firewall )
Look on the left side of valve cover at rear of cover. One app. 1inch line with a 1/4 inch vacume line loop on it.
The most common place for a PCV valve is on the valve cover.
Yes , I was looking at one of the Ford websites and for the 4.0 litre SOHC , V6 engine in a 2004 Ford Explorer Sport Trac it lists : ( Motorcraft EV-268 as the part number for the PCV valve ) The drawing I was looking at wasn't very clear , but it looks like the PCV valve is at the rear of the engine or the rear of thedrivers side valve cover , just below the ignition coil pack with the six towers on it
Where is the pcv valve on 2007 dodge dakota 4.7 mag. Eng.and the egr valve also?
The valve is in the center of the rear valve cover.
do you mean pcv its located in th valve cover
This part runs along the top backside of the engine from one side to the other. It is a long black plastic piece that you can only get from the dealerships. Do not waste your time buying the PCV valve at an auto warehouse because it is NOT what you need. I cannot remember the cost but it was a bit pricey for what you get. If it is clogged though you will notice a huge difference... I know I did. $30 +/-
behind the intake manifold
I have 1 1999 Dodge Neon Sport and the PCV valve is located on a hose that comes out of the Valve cover. The hose is very brittle (possibly due to heat) and can crack when you try to replace the PCV valve so be prepared to replace the hose, clamps, etc. as well.
